ITEM DETAILS

A tool as special as it is useful for fishing sessions, which allows us to measure the temperature and the pH of the water of our specific spot ON THE BOTTOM. It can be launched with the marker rod, without difficulty, even at long distance, thanks to its aerodynamic shape, or lowered from the boat. Its leaded head will allow it to reach the bottom very quickly and the micro holes arranged on its surface, specially designed, will allow water to penetrate inside it only once it reaches its destination. At this point it will be sufficient to wait a couple of minutes, recover and open the two special side sections to get all the necessary information on the chosen Spot. The pH is measured by using a litmus paper to be inserted in the side section of Aqua.

WHY KNOW THE TEMPERATURE ON THE BOTTOM?
The tools that are present in Carpfishing today, allow us to detect the temperature mainly on the surface, but, as we well know, the spots can be several meters deep. Knowing and looking for areas of the seabed with higher or lower temperature, depending on the season, can significantly increase the success rate of our fishing session.
WHY KNOW THE PH ON THE BOTTOM?
Ph is one of the most debated topics in Carpfishing in recent years. The pH of our body of water can undergo profound variations between surface and bottom and from area to area. The carp perceives through its sensory organs the variations between surface and bottom and from area to area and also perceives the variations of Ph and can be very attracted to it or on the contrary repulsed. Knowing the value of the Ph at the exact point where the triggers are dropped helps us understand two important elements:
1. Confirm if we are in a valid spot. Exaggeratedly acid peaks, for example, may indicate a rotting seabed and therefore tend to be avoided.
2. Help us understand which bait is better to use in order to cause the best possible Ph variation in the seabed, which, in turn, will strongly attract fish to our baiting by increasing our chances of catching.
In more practical terms, if the ph value of the seabed is basically basic, it will be advisable to use basically acidic baits; if the ph value of the seabed is basically acid it will be better to use basically baits.
